2026!
The first week of 2026 feels like the perfect time to share an update on my plans for the year ahead and the incredible sponsors supporting me. I’m happy to announce that I’ll be backed by GURU, Basso Bikes, ASSOS, Fizik, Pirelli, and AVEO, with a few more partnerships to be announced soon!
This season, I’ll be racing as a Privateer, which is both exciting and a little scary. Being a privateer requires a lot of planning and budgeting, but I’m incredibly grateful to my sponsors for giving me the opportunity to continue chasing my dreams for another year.
Gravel racing has become more professional and extremely competitive in a very short time. For 2026, I have ambitious goals and will be racing a slightly smaller calendar, focusing on events that suit my strengths and where I believe I can truly perform. Last year, I felt caught in a cycle of doing too much, racing nearly every weekend, which eventually led to feeling burnt out. With so many racing opportunities, along with FOMO and constant comparisons, it’s easy to overextend yourself. This year, I’m embracing a less-is-more approach, both physically and mentally, and I truly believe it will pay off.
I’ll be starting the season in Europe before returning to North America later in the year. While I love European gravel racing, and many Earth Gravel Series and UCI events are based there, I’m especially excited to take on some of the biggest gravel races in North America this summer. In the coming years, I hope to continue building toward a stronger North American calendar.
I’ve just wrapped up a full month of Zwift training, riding anywhere from one to five hours at a time. While it was mentally challenging, I really value indoor training as you are consistently on the pedals and it is perfect for specific intervals. That said, after a month inside, I’m more than ready to get back outdoors.
For January, I’ll be based in Tucson, staying with my good friends Doug and Daphne. The last time I was there was March 2020, when my trip was cut short due to COVID. I’m really looking forward to the warm weather, Mount Lemmon, and exploring all the gravel Tucson has to offer.
After Tucson, I’ll head back to Europe to kick off the race season at Santa Vall in Girona, followed by my first UCI Gravel race of the year at Castellón Gravel in Spain. From there, the spring will include The Hills, Sea Otter California, and a return to Girona for The Traka 200 to finish the season strong.
I’m both excited and nervous heading into 2026, but with so many changes ahead, I’m more motivated than ever to make this a successful year. Thank you to everyone who continues to support me.
